Teaching

Emma Draper-Reich is passionate about storytelling. She has been teaching writing and communications courses for almost 10 years, joining the faculty at SUNY CCC in 2017. She loves building new platforms for her students’ creative work and designing interdisciplinary classes like Writing for Media.

At SUNY CCC she has supervised student projects in fiction, nonfiction, podcasting, and documentary filmmaking. Her teaching gives students the tools to make their ideas happen.

Emma was recently selected for a Community College Internationalization Fellowship at Cornell University. She is also the faculty advisor for the college’s student-run newspaper, The Crier.
